Collagen Tahini Balls
My favorite kinda balls
These balls are delicious, craving quenching and packed with the goooooods! I personally used to hate the taste of tahini, my family in Greece would eat this tahini "candy" that I found repulsive, but as I've gotten older and my tastes have changed, I found that I actually use tahini pretty freaking frequently! Funny how that works, right? Anyways, these babies are hormone balancing, protein packed and delicious, try em out and let me know what you think! Oh and not to mention they are also Gluten Free, Dairy free (and without the collagen) Vegan!
What you need:
1 scoop Further Food Collagen (use code LandOfPleasantEating for $ off your order!)
1 teaspoon reishi (my favorite is Sun Potion!)
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup cashews
Or one cup whatever nut you choose these were just the ones I had on hand
Three pitted Large Dates (or Wedderspoon Manuka Honey!)
One tbsp Coconut Butter (my favorite is Artisana)
1/2 cup liquified Tahini
3 tbsp Raw Hemp Hearts (get mine from Vitacost!)
6 tbsp Coconut Flour (my favorite is Nutiva)
3 tbsp room temperature Coconut Oil
Blend until mixed into a dough!
Roll into balls and place in fridge or freezer on a baking sheet or in a container (keep balls at least 1/2 inch apart so they don't stick together!)
I eat two to three before a big workout and I'm good to go for the day, I also tend to have a craving at night for something sweet/salty so i'll sprinkle some sea salt on top and snack on one of these big bad boys before bed!
